1st ISOTOPICS Meeting

Published on 25 November 2016

The 1st ISOTOPICS Meeting was held at the Hotel "Intercontinental Paris Marceau" (Paris, France) on 24th-25th November 2016. It was organised by the Management Team and the CEA. The 13 recruited ESRs, all the members of the supervisory Board, all the members of the advisory board, the project manager and an invited lecturer were present (42 participants over the 2 days of meeting).

The Coordinator and the Project Manager gave an overview of the project management. Then, Prof. Dr. Tobias RITTER (Max Planck Institute, Germany) was invited to give a plenary lecture (1h of conference and 30 minutes of questions/discussion). The title of the conference was "Late-Stage Fluorination for PET Imaging".

Afterwards, all ESRs presented their background and their PhD project (15 min. of oral communication + 5 min. of questions). Finally, all the members of the Advisory Board provided recommendations and guidelines to the ESRs.

This meeting helped to settle the scientific objectives of each PhD project and reinforce the collaboration between academic and non-academic supervisors/co-supervisors.

A social event (dinner) was also organised in the Restaurant Jamin to share a convivial moment between the participants and enjoy the French gastronomy.
