The 5th ISOTOPICS meeting was held at Merton College in TS Eliot Theatre (Oxford, UK) and organised by University of Oxford beneficiary and the management team on 14th-15th March 2019.
This 2-day Meeting gathered PIs, the 15 ESRs and 3 members of the Advisory Board (33 participants in total). The Project management team informed about the administrative follow-up and the end of the project-implement.
All the ESRs gave an oral communication (20 min) in order to present their PhD project results, the short-term perspectives (last year of PhD), their communication and dissemination actions, and their planned/done secondments. Moreover, they had to discuss about their contributions to the scientific deliverables which will be submitted in 2019. All the presentation were followed by 5 minutes of questions/discussion with all the consortium.
The consortium noticed that all ESRs improved their communications skills and their ability to discuss about their PhD project.
Dr. Victor Pike (NIMH, USA) and Pr. Heinz Coenen (Institut für Neurowissenschaften und Medizin Universität zu Köln Jülich – GERMANY), two highly experienced researchers and members of the project Advisory Board, gave plenary lectures (1h of talk and 15 minutes of questions/discussion) to present several examples of research works carried out during their career.
A social event was organised at Savile room in Merton College.
